What's your value?
Your home. Your car. Your computer. Your jewelry. Your furnishings.
All these things hold specific monetary value. When our neighbor's house sold recently, the first thing we wanted to know was, "How much did they get for it?" Our things have value.
But, how many of us look at ourselves as valuable? Not many of us put the same time, energy, commitment, resources and investment in ourselves as we do our things.
Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could cherish ourselves as the priceless beings we are?
Today, could you allow yourself to give yourself the appreciation and approval you deserve...for no reason whatsoever? Could you allow yourself to at least consider the possibilitly that you don't have to perform to be valuable?
Ponder this idea for a moment: What if you are the most valuable possession you'll ever have? If you start to place a real value on yourself, your health, your wellbeing - what would you be willing to do to take care of your most valuable asset?
Playtime: Choose three things to do, this week, to help yourself feel valuable.
Examples:
1. Take a long walk
2. Soak in a bubble bath
3. Write yourself a love letter
4. Sleep in
5. Hug every friend you meet
6. Laugh a little louder than you think you should
Take good care of yourself. You are a miracle. You deserve the very best.
Great article. You are really quite inspiring.

Hi Carol,
I love what you have said here. As I read the playtime list I noticed myself yearning for play. I had not noticed how intensely focused I have been over the last month with so many new developments happening in my business! I look forward to seeing you develop even more. You have accomplished an amazing amount in a short time!
Warmly,
Juanita

Great article Carol. This is definitely "value-added" when we finally learn that we ourselves are valuable as we are.
The question that came to me is, if more things bring more value into our surroundings, does more of me add value to my person? Whew, I don't have to lose any weight after all!!! I am very valuable! hee hee.
Seriously, a question I ask myself to get back on track sometimes is "how am I honouring myself in this moment?" It works!
Donna.

Hi Carol,
Very well done. This will make every person who reads it think more highly of himself/herself. And adding play is a most important ingredient. I frequently forget to add play in each and every week.
Dr. Sidney Simon in his book Getting Unstuck compares us with being born with high self-esteem but people have wrecking balls to tear us down.
This blog will go far to re-establish that high self-esteem.

Hi Carol:
This was beautiful! What a great reminder that we are all worthwhile, beautiful, perfect beings just as we are. I think I'll go play now!
Joyfully,

Carol,
You Rock!! How wonder-full, creative and rich. It makes me want to be a better person just reading it, now if I can listen to my inner-dreamer and start cultivating it. Thank you for your dream! Bonnie
